Approach
Assessment thinking for qualifications that cross systems.
QualifyEdu uses a four-layer model: identity of the award, academic substance, professional practice and decision context. The goal is to help users ask better questions before approaching a credential evaluator, admissions office or licensing body.
1. Identify the awarding context
Record institution, country, campus, mode, dates, qualification title and any partner-provider arrangement.
2. Inspect the academic substance
Map credits, contact hours, syllabus level, assessment mode and grading system to the requirement being considered.
3. Add professional evidence
For regulated fields, training hours, placements, registration history and supervised practice may matter as much as the award title.
4. Escalate official decisions
Only competent authorities, institutions or professional bodies can make binding equivalency, admission or licensing decisions.
